Precautions for operating a driving floor scrubber

Electric driving floor scrubbers have become increasingly popular in recent years. With the widespread application of electric driving floor scrubbers, they not only help cleaning personnel save heavy physical labor, but also solve the long-standing problems of low cleaning efficiency and unsatisfactory cleaning results in hotels, community property management, environmental sanitation, factories and other enterprises.

But in dealing with many after-sales issues, we have found that many companies directly throw their machines to cleaning workers after purchasing them, and there is no dedicated person to maintain and upkeep them on a daily basis. Due to their low level of education and slow acceptance of new things, cleaning personnel have encountered many problems during use. Here are some precautions for electric driving floor scrubbers for your reference.

1、 Before operation
Check the water level in the tank, it must be above the warning line. When injecting water into the water tank, do not use contaminated water containing a large amount of debris and impurities. When injecting water, do not rush or overfill. You can follow the operation manual or guidance provided by the manufacturer to inject an appropriate amount of clean water. If cleaning agent is needed, the sewage tank shall be injected with an appropriate amount of defoamer in advance to prevent the foam in the sewage tank from overflowing and entering the mechanical interior or battery box, causing mechanical failure. Before using the machine, check whether the sewage cover, clean water cover, and water pipe cover are all tightly closed.

2、 When driving
After the electric driving floor scrubber is turned on and enters the working state, it should not be driven too fast, otherwise it is prone to residual sewage. When moving forward continuously, do not stay in one place for a long time to keep the brush disc rotating, otherwise it may scratch the ground. If you find that the noise level of the floor scrubber exceeds the normal level during use, you should pay attention and stop the floor scrubber in a timely manner. Carefully inspect the machine until the abnormal noise is eliminated. During this period, you can also contact our floor scrubber manufacturer to consult related technical issues. On heavy ground with garbage, mud, and other debris, it is not advisable to use a floor scrubber directly to clean it, otherwise the water tank and pipes will easily become blocked.

3、 After stopping
To place in a dry and ventilated environment, open the lid, ventilate and blow dry, clean and remove stains from the water tank, water pipes, brush discs, and suction pads. Check the battery level. If the battery is low, do not charge it immediately. Wait for the battery and motor temperature to decrease before charging.

4、 Shutdown maintenance
When not in use for a long time, the battery can be fully charged and removed from the cabin. When not in use for a short period of time, it is recommended to regularly charge and maintain the battery. If it is left unused for a long time, it will cause the battery to lose power and affect its lifespan.
