Scientific maintenance plan for summer industrial floor scrubber battery

Introduction: High temperatures in summer can easily damage the battery of a floor scrubber. Regularly inspect the casing and electrodes, and take measures to prevent sunburn. Stopping the machine every 2 hours for continuous operation can effectively extend the battery life.

The high temperature in summer has a significant impact on the batteries (usually lead-acid or lithium batteries) of industrial floor scrubbers. Improper use may lead to a decrease in capacity, shortened lifespan, or even malfunction. The following are maintenance precautions for industrial floor scrubber batteries in summer:

1. Regular inspection and maintenance

Appearance inspection:
Check the battery casing for bulges, cracks, and leakage (lead-acid battery electrolyte leakage).
Ensure that the battery connection wires are not loose or corroded (poor contact between the positive and negative poles can cause abnormal charging and discharging).
Cleaning electrodes:
If white/green corrosive substances appear on the electrode, clean it with warm water and baking soda solution, dry it, and apply an antioxidant (such as Vaseline or specialized electrode paste).

2. High temperature protection measures

Avoid direct sunlight exposure:
When parking the floor scrubber, try to place it in a cool and ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight (high temperatures can accelerate electrolyte evaporation and electrode aging).
If used in a high-temperature workshop, it is recommended to move to a cool area promptly after operation to cool down.

Control continuous working time:
When working continuously in summer, the battery temperature may be too high. It is recommended to stop the machine every 2 hours and rest for 10-15 minutes to prevent overheating.
