The main reason why industrial floor scrubbers do not produce water
The failure of industrial floor scrubbers to produce water may be caused by various reasons. The following are common faults and troubleshooting steps:
1. Water tank issue
Incorrect installation of water tank: Check if the water tank is properly placed and if the sealing ring is aligned.
Insufficient water volume or empty tank: Ensure that there is enough water in the tank (some models require reaching the minimum water level line).
The water tank cover is not closed: If the cover is not tightly closed, it will cause insufficient air pressure and affect the water flow.
Inlet blockage: Check for foreign objects (such as impurities and scale) at the outlet of the water tank.
2. Blockage in the water outlet system
Spray nozzle/pipe blockage:
After shutting down, clean the water nozzle with a fine needle or toothpick.
Disassemble the hose and check for scale or debris (soak in white vinegar or citric acid to remove scale).
Filter blockage: Some models have filter screens at the water tank outlet or nozzle, which need to be cleaned regularly.
3. Electromagnetic valve malfunction
The solenoid valve controls the water outlet switch, and if damaged, it will result in the inability to supply water.
Use a multimeter to check the on/off status of the solenoid valve (requires professional maintenance).
4. Other reasons
Low temperature freezing: In winter, residual water in the water pipe freezes and needs to be thawed before use.
Mode setting error: Confirm that it has not been mistakenly set to "dry drag" or "water suction" mode (no water spray).
Suction blockage: If the sewage recovery system is blocked, it may cause the machine to stop discharging water protectively.
Summary of Self Inspection Steps
1. Basic inspection: Add water to the water tank → Confirm installation → Check mode.
2. Clearing blockages: Check the nozzle, pipeline, and filter screen one by one.
3. Restart/Reset: Long press the power button to restore factory settings.
4. Contact after-sales service: If the above is invalid, it may be necessary to replace the water pump or repair the circuit.
Tip: If the machine is within the warranty period, it is recommended to contact the official after-sales service first to avoid disassembling the machine and causing the warranty to expire. Regular cleaning of water tanks and pipelines can prevent such problems.
